September 26th, 2007, 02:03 AM
Not sure if this is a bug but in MSIE i get this error: Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/thebeerd/public_html/gallery/pp-inc.php on line 4131
when i tryed netscape and opera i don't get this error.
September 26th, 2007, 11:19 AM
That should not be a browser issue.
How about posting a link to your site and if this was an upgrade did you run your upgrade script?
September 26th, 2007, 01:17 PM
The link to my site is: www.the-beer-drinkers-forum.co.uk

I have viewed your site I am not logged in I see no errors there. Looks totally fine to me. Am I missing something?
September 26th, 2007, 05:39 PM
the error is not on the forum, if you click on the gallery link you will see the error as i said i am getting that error on all three browsers and at work on msie.

There are no errors on your gallery that I see and I have replied to your support ticket I beleive early last evening.
September 30th, 2007, 02:51 PM
Why does this error show up when i log out of the gallery, at the top of the page
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/thebeerd/public_html/gallery/pp-inc.php on line 4131
This happens on MSIE, Netscape, Opera Browsers

Your running wowbb?
In wowbb.php try adding this line 264
// This assumes that "Guests" is 1
$usergroups = array( 1 );
try changing to this
// This assumes that "Guests" is 1
$usergroups = 1;
September 30th, 2007, 03:25 PM
If that does not work leave that change in and then also find this line
set_user_perms( $vbgroups );
change to this
set_user_perms( array($usergroups) );

the code has seemed to work with the MSIE but the netscape and the opera is still showing that error.
October 1st, 2007, 10:02 AM
That is impossible this is not a browser error. This is a mysql error because the usergroup for a guest is not being passed.
You may email firstname.lastname@example.org with ftp info and url and admin login. There will be quite a wait till there is a reply. There is a line of people with support issues right now with release of new software.
October 1st, 2007, 02:55 PM

October 2nd, 2007, 01:40 PM

October 3rd, 2007, 10:34 AM
Not a problem at all thought that would be best since apparently the other email never reaches us.
October 4th, 2007, 09:02 AM
Can you say when you are going to clear up my proplem
October 4th, 2007, 12:24 PM
Once I get an email from you actually.
I sent you an email over a week ago explaining your ftp access was not correct and I have checked our email system every day and there is no ftp access there for your beer drinkers forum
I hope this clarifies the issue. You seem to not be able to send email directly to me nor to photopost directly.
I would be more than happy to help you thats why I emailed you personally to try and get you to answer the email with the correct details.
All I need is an email with your ftp and admin login details that work since the last time the ftp access was wrong or simply look back at your first email and make your ftp password that cause I still think I got that plugged into my ftp client.
October 4th, 2007, 01:31 PM
i am going to resend the mail i sent to your mail addy
i sent a mail off to you at 18:35 BST, UK Time
October 5th, 2007, 10:41 AM
I have checked my ftp login details that i sent you and they work for me so if you can't login with them there is something wrong somwhere
October 5th, 2007, 10:45 AM
I suggest you check the first email you sent me. I dont have the password anymore but it is in the ftp client. I still have no emails from you.
password one you sent
This does not result in an ftp connection it tells me password is invalid.
October 7th, 2007, 10:00 AM
Dis you try thebeerd username? without no space
October 7th, 2007, 02:53 PM
Kelvin I tried that username and again it does not allow an ftp connection so the password must be bad that you have given me that initial time.
The bonnie password is not right anyway you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org
October 8th, 2007, 09:00 AM
I again have checked my ftp user name and password they are the right ones that i gave you, i am sending them to support again.
October 8th, 2007, 10:43 AM
See they where wrong indeed. You had like a 1594 on the end of the initial password ;)
Once you listed the right info your site is fixed.
October 8th, 2007, 12:34 PM
Thanks Chuck for putting up with me:o:o
October 8th, 2007, 12:48 PM
Not a problem buddy glad to help if I get the right info to assist ;)
