I wonder, what is the policy regarding license expiration and outstanding bugs that have been submitted, noted and not received a solution. Example. I submitted a verifiable bug as long as 9 months ago that has been noted, but never fixed. I now have a major issue that I reported more than two weeks ago that is preventing yet another aspect of the software I bought from functioning. My license will expire in a few days.

Is the policy that the license expires as normal and no bug fixes are ever issued unless you renew your license?

Or do you provide support for those bugs submitted prior the the license expiration?

well all depends really. Bug fixes are always noted in the actual threads in the bug forum if you do a search. For really old copies of the software we always tell people to upgrade since the new software replaces the old software. Support personel only have the current software to work with so without an old bug thread or something your in a gray error since no one will be able to replicate bugs usually.

If you have an example of a thread where you think a bug fix was not applied you can surely post a link and we will say whether it is a bug or not. Usually 85%-90% are not bugs unless noted specifically by support persons in those threads.

Well,

I'm specifically talking about threads that are either in the bug forum, are were noted specifically by a support person in the thread that they'd be looked into and fixed. The questions still remain.

Is the policy that the license expires as normal and no bug fixes are ever issued unless you renew your license?

Or do you provide support for those bugs submitted prior the the license expiration?

Example.
Here's a bug (http://www.photopost.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1162063#post1162063) I submitted about 9 months ago.

It's noted by a Photopost developer and that it might be fixed. Unfortunately it wasn't. Here is the same (http://www.photopost.com/forum/showthread.php?t=127958) bug submitted by another person still in the bug forums today. 9 Months of the same bug persisting through different versions.

Here is a bug (http://www.photopost.com/forum/showthread.php?t=130597) I submitted over two weeks ago. This bug is preventing a large portion of my site from functioning.

Here's another bug (http://www.photopost.com/forum/showthread.php?t=130596).

I've got two days till my license expires, I just want to know what the policy is?

Ah that explains it but I see where he says he will take a look not that its a bug. Please post in those threads cause I really dont work with vbgallery. I handle the other 3 products around here so I can not give you an answer as to what is or is not a bug.

The license expiration prevents you from getting the new code is the policy as far as bug fixes to my knowledge when one is fixed the fix is posted in the threads.
