View Full Version : Unable to retrieve member's area password

I am attempting to retrieve my username and password for my classifieds license. While my forum account shows up at a valid customer, the password rest system does not have me in the database. How can I proceed and have this reset?

You must enter the correct email on file for the license. Make sure your using the correct email
As in if you own multiple licenses you may be verified from your photopost license.

Odd. I'm not getting anything on the email address I have setup with the forums. Why would the forums show me as registered if the members area couldn't recognize the same address?

Interesting indeed cause it would assume you changed your email addy after being verified to something else. Since I have no idea who you are just try other emails on this page till you enter the proper one to get your details
I will talk with Michael and make sure our verification script has a reverse check to ensure people can not change there email and it must be set to a license holder. The current process I believe scans the registered usergroup to check for emails that match the license holder and bumps you into a verified group. Now see once your in the verified group you changed your email and this is what your issue is. There is no check on the verified group to ensure they are still verified.
