I can't get the watermark function to work. I am attempting to use a JPEG image and I'm pretty sire that I have the path correct.
Thanks in advance,

To watermark files it must be a png image if using GD2 or gif or jpg using Imagemagick as the processor not JPEG.

i have both gd and imagemagick installed on the server can i watermark all png,gif and jpg or do i have to choose one or the other and which do you recommend?

gif images can not be watermarked with gd2 only png or jpg images. You can do this permanent or on the fly where it preserves the original
Now using imagemagick you can watermark png gif and jpg images although its permanent
I like on the fly since it does not destroy the original

i tried enabling the overlay as well and it was set to south east and it put it there but i decided to change it to south and i deleted the image from the gallery and reuploaded in case there was a problem b/c it wasnt showing the fact i change it to south but now i have 2 watermarks http://fraggersforever.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=6&cat=500&ppuser=1
as u can see here.
just uploaded a new pic that was never up and shows twice like the others

If you did permanent watermarking and then later turn on on the fly you will have two watermarks since the original image is already permanently watermarked

I understand but i had delete the image and then re uploaded i also uploaded a new one and still shows 2 watermarks i gave you a url to see plus i am not sure what the overlay stuff is and how do i know if i turned on permanent watermarking on??? i dont see anything that says permanent watermarking.

You either set permanent watermarking in watermark options to yes or turn that off and use on the fly not both ;)
