View Full Version : Do-it-yourself basic integration ?

I have a YaBB message forum which I would like to use with PhotoPost and would like to do a very minimal integration with it, basically just picking up the YaBB user cookie if they are logged on and passing it to PhotoPost so that the user doesn't need to login separately to PhotoPost. I have managed to do this with other php products and was wondering if there is any kind of guide that would allow me to do that that I could take a look at BEFORE purchasing PhotoPost.

You would simply take one of the existing forum integration files that closely matches YaBB (something I've used in the past, but its been a while) and then modify the queries to match the data from that board.

Others have done such integrations and you could even submit it to us for review and inclusion should it work properly. I don't know of any hurdle that would prevent you from doing such an integration in just a few hours if you've done them before.
