Has the photopost owners/developers ever thought about having a template system similar to Vbulletin, It is a very easy thing to work with and alter when to be fair photoposts is a bit of a nightmare :)

I just wondered thats all if it has been mooted at any point?

Well there has been talk back and forth on the issue so who knows what the future holds. We have talked about making two template systems one normal and one more like vb3 for vbulletin integrations.

Now just a matter of point personally from me. I actually find vbulletin's template system way more complex than ours. Our templates quite simply are HTML FILES with php includes wrapped around certain parts. They are quite simple compared to something like vb's

It's not anything that is in the works for the very simple reason that a template system requires a learning curve for everyone where PhotoPost PHP templates are easy to work with if you have an even basic understanding of PHP.

Template system are really nothing more than a preprocessor to converting the scripts into PHP and while vB's is a good system, designing one for PhotoPost is not currently on our To Do list.

I understand that but actualy changing anything can be time consuming if you have to download the thing change a bit decide you dont like it reupload a new one and so on.

Also having php wrapped round the templates and templates split into different parts for the same template in the same file does make things harder.
