While there is an announcement of the release, there is no mention of what the update provides! Since the annoucements forum is closed to responses, this is the onlly place I could figure out to ask the question.

Sorry

Bug fixes.
I realy did not work up a detailed list.

I went through all the threads in the "Bugs" forums that was imported from vbadvanced.com and added verified solutions to problems. All locked threads are in the build.

vb3.0 http://www.photopost.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=125
VB3.5 http://www.photopost.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=131

(off the top of my head, there is a ton more)

VB3.0
Uncached Templates
- Fixed 10-15 templates when doing different operations.
- Fixed 24bit PNG in GD2
- more
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+

VB3.5
Uncached Templates
- Fixed 10-15 templates when doing different operations.

Quickreply
- I disabled wysiwyg (forced) untill bugs can be worked out. (even if chosen)
- You should be able to do standard editor w/o tools and with tools.
- I was getting problems on my Dev box with adding text to the quick reply and none carried over to the "Adv. Post" or auto submit vs. "Adv. Post" only in "wysiwyg" mode.

Smile Popup
- Fixed (would not allow you to sellect a smile from popup.

- Fixed 24bit PNG in GD2

It would've been a good opportunity to eliminate the remaining file edits by using the hooks.

So... can you tell us what enhancements lie in store for the next version of vbgallery?

What exact is wrong with watermarking?

I do not see any issues with it. In your gallery settings you specify the full server path to a png image to use as a watermark file.

example

/var/www/html/gallery/data/watermark.png

It then says to watermark your images select yes and this action requires use of the gd library.

I upload an image and it is watermarked fine.

I am still running 1.01 on my test site so I have not upgraded yet. Please explain in detail what does not work for you.

Ok my prob is the following:

The main setting are,

Watermark Images: /home/********/public_html/copyright.png
Permanently Watermark Images: No
Watermark Location: South East

Now the watermark works but i have the following probs with it:

1) If the png is bigger then a image it does not watermark it (can not do a full over lay)

2) Categories i pick 'not' to use watermarks by editing the Categories settings to:

Watermark Images: use default is unticked and the path box is blank

doing this should mean that the following categories with the above setting should not use watermarks.

But when viewing them categories the images are being watermarked so basicy the main setting looks to be over powering the categories ones.

Server info:
Server Type Linux
Web Server Apache v1.3.33 (cgi)

Thanks anyway for working on it.
