View Full Version : German translation for vBGallery here and on another site?
January 12th, 2006, 09:36 PM
I've done my best to translate the whole vBGallery phrases to german (including admin panel, user front end, eCards etc.) and I hope that it will be OK for most users.
Where can I upload the XML file to share it with other users?
OK, first place is here but it is possible to share it on the site http://www.vbhacks-germany.com too? It's an official site for hacked vBulletin boards.
I will correct some typos which I've found and after that I'm ready to upload the XML....

Sorry that I ask again but where can I upload/post the german XML file for vBGallery 1.0.1?
Should I send an eMail to the photopost team that they can distribute the XML file with vBGallery?
Do I get the permission to share this XML file on the site "http://www.vbhacks-germany.com"? Some people have asked for a german language file because why should every customer translate the phrases self when another has done that before.

Sorry but in five days no simple answer to a simple question from the Photopost Team?
It seems that there's no interest in a german language file even if some other users would need it. I only need an answer where to upload the XML to make it available to other users and if it is possible to share it on the site vbhacks-germany.com.
Please see this thread too: http://www.photopost.com/forum/showthread.php?t=118120
Brian has allowed to distrubute the translation on vbhacks-germany.com but now it's your software so I ask you for permission.

I have been lost in support and Bug land for a few weeks from all the stuff imported from vbadvanced. We are moven like a race car in the red and will have some updates soon.
I do not see a problem w/ Lang. translations myself. I know english and bad english  your idea was passed to the DEV's. They will create a forum in the mods area for translations (something overlooked in the move :o . )
- For now please upload to : vb3 / vb3.5 (http://www.photopost.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=176) and we will move the thread once the forum is made.
Thank You for your time and energy.
