View Full Version : [RC4] Member Categories - Wrong URL in Breadcrumb
April 20th, 2005, 10:13 AM
In browseimages.php, around line 808
if ($catinfo['membercat'] AND $userid)
$navbits["browseimages.php?$session[sessionurl]"] = construct_phrase($vbphrase['usernames_images'], $imageusername, iif(substr($imageusername, -1) != 's', $vbphrase['plural_s']));
I think $catid and $userid are missing in the URL, which leads to an error when you click it.

Looks like you're running RC3, in which this was a known bug. There is a post about this in the bugs forum for RC3 and it has been fixed in RC4.

That's the header of browseimages.php where I took the above excerpt ...

Did you revert the templates?

Hmm, navbar_link never caused problems so far (although it's still left untouched back since Beta 7 I guess) ... until now :D
Thank's for pointing this out.

So what exactly is the problem that you are saying this is creating? If anything, the URL should be removed from that bit of code since that's only used when you are viewing a specific user's category within a members' category.

It's already fixed, see the attached screenshots.
With the old template, gallerytests's images pointed to browseimages.php?, which obviously produced an error.

So just to be sure, this was a problem with your navbar templates and not something with the gallery, right?

But this problem only appeared in the Gallery so far ;)

My guess would be it's because of the unnecessary URL being there. While it shouldn't affect anything on most installations, I'll go ahead and move this to the bugs forum to be sure that it's corrected in the next version. :)
