im looking for info about how well the gallery images can be integrated into the forums themselves. i've been using photopost and while im happy with the way that it is designed to work, ive been having problems related to the integration with the vbulletin user database. someone pointed me at your product as an alternative.

- can the forums display... say latest images in a frame at the bottom?

and a non integration question
- can users create their own albums like one would on ophoto? so you might have the admin set up a member photos section, but the user creates his own sub categories?
ie, member photos->bill smith's gallerys->vacation winter 2005?
- is there an easy way for the users to bulk upload? or is it limited to the user having to select each file in the upload box (i realize you can have a number of upload boxes but im not sure about wildcard uploading).

thanks!

-Yes, there's a hack for it available here on the site.

-Yes. You can try it out at the gallery here. http://www.vbadvanced.com/gallery/

-There is an option to allow users to FTP images, but it would require that you set up an FTP account for each user that needed to use it. (useful if you have a few users who will be uploading a lot of images). Otherwise, they will have to use the form method. (And you can choose how many files to allow them to upload at once.)

Thanks, one other question, are you aware of a module to allow pics to be submitted via email? One of the neat hacks someone wrote for PhotoPost is a "Mobile Module" that allows one to email a pic from their cell phone to a specific address. The address maps the cell phone #/email address to one associated with a user account and adds the photo under that account.

Nope, haven't see any hack like that yet. (Then again Gallery is relatively new, and not even at v1.0.0 yet, so someone will probably do something like that as time passes, if there is enough interest.)
