View Full Version : PP, RP & VB all on database?

I'm considering using a VB discussion forum with a photopost gallery and a reviewpost reviews section. Now I know VB and PP can work together, been there done that. My question is whether I can also have RP access the same member database? Will it cause any conflicts or other issues? Will having all 3 use the database slow down the system or PP etc?

I would only consider database size
Since VB and VBportal are big enough as it is I do this
1. Database 1 has VB and VBportal
2. Database 2 has PP,RP and Classifieds
Only thing you need to do is make sure all our products have different table prefix's

I'm sorry, I guess I wasn't clear on what database. I only want to share the member database, to provide on log in for all programs. Also, I have no plans to add classifieds into the mix, at least not for now. I also don't run VBportal, nor do I plan to.
Would sharing the member database be an issue?

I would not think so the only thing you need to watch for is mysql database size. I separate them to keep databases smaller and more lean
