Where is it asking you to put the path to PhotoPost? Also, the image you sent is too low of a quality to really see what you see, but it almost appears as if the account is setup as a mod instead of an admin. Are you integrating this with any other scripts (vb, phpbb, photopost pro,...) or is it a stand alone?

right now it is installed and uses vb users..
havn't done the header inc yet.
and when I go thru the install and when it comes to the last page before it says finished, (down on the bottom part it says url to you pp and path to your pp)

URL to PhotoPost UPLOADS directory
Full path to PhotoPost UPLOADS directory (no spaces in path!)

That is a typo in the text...should be PhotoPost Classifieds Uploads...
For your admin panel, Sounds like the PP (PhotoPost) usergroup ID's don't match with your forum's Usergroup ID's. Log in to MySQL (using phpMyAdmin or a similar product), then find the user table for your forum. Check to see what UserGroup ID is given to your admin account. Then go to the usergroup table for PP and change the ID for Admin to match that number. Once you have done this you should be able to log in as admin. After you login, I would suggest going to the Admin Panel - Edit Usergroup of PP and click the "Refresh usergroups from your forum software?" link. This should match them all up again.

don't know if this means anything but when vb came our with 303 we at vbportal had to chnage a few file to be compatable with the new version of vb.
it was causeing the redirect back to the login page
for instance we chnage a few paths to this..
cache_permissions($bbuserinfo) to cache_permissions($bbuserinfo, true);

Please open your config-inc.php file and look for:
$cookie_path = "/";
$cookie_domain = ".reecehosting.com";
// Cookie Prefix
// Default vB3:
//bb = "bb";
// Default phpBB2:
//bb = "phpbb2mysql";
// Default Threads:
//bb = "w3t_";
Make sure it matches exactly what it says above.

Ok now were back to the mod looking screen
doesn't look like a admin screen
July 7th, 2004, 10:12 AM
both admin id's are set to 6 also
July 7th, 2004, 10:17 AM
You need to make a stickt about what this says,
// Cookie Prefix
// Right now this only applies to UBBThreads or phpBB2; if you have your cookies set to a custom
// prefix, set it here.
$cookieprefix="bb"; use vb's cookies prefix here
because of what its says about ubb and phpbb2 it throws you off

Please check the table usergroups in the PhotoPost database. Look for the Administrator record.
*groupid is set the the groupid of your username
*cpaccess = 1
You should now have admin rights to your Admin Panel.
