Any idea why we get italics tags coming up in photo titles?

If you do a search sometimes you get results like this:
Message - Backyard Poultry Photo Gallery

If we go to those individual photos, the titles are normal. Any idea what's causing them to come up incorrectly in the search results?

Here's another example if you scroll to the bottom.

It looks like it happens when the title is too long to fit into the thumbnail in the search returns, so that the end italics tag gets missed off and consequently we see the first one as an error. Is this a problem in the software or is there a setting that can prevent this? It's a minor problem but if we can stop it we'd like to.
