Well it all depends on your understanding of integration.
No plugin we support and release modifies any vBulletin file. We would never release and support anything that has customers doing hand modifications to files. Now last time I saw that mod your talking about there are several steps of hand modifying vBulletin files.
That is why it is and always will be a mod. Anything we release to plugin to
vb is 100% fully a plugin thing with our own templating and coding which takes advantage of the
vb plugin system. We can not develop anything that would exist outside the
vb plugin system.
