Yeah thats really the point I was making 3.x has been end of life for a long time. vb3 was effectively dead years before vb4 even went gold because the only thing that came out of small bug fix releases for years. No real new features.

No matter what people say about vb4 being end of life now that vb5 is in beta I think that is not going to be the case.

If vbulletin thinks they are going to develop a product and release to a .2 release and make customers pay 250.00 a pop every 3 years they are effectively out of business the writing is on the wall.

I think they are going to find vb5 is going to prove a huge nightmare with no sales and they are going to have no recourse but to stay with vb4 because I know I am not going to be paying Internet Brands that kind of dough every 3 years.
