Noting your comment above about setting the xml's to 777. There were 3 @ 644 which I changed to 777. This wasn't documented in class/installphp.html. Did I miss anything else? At this point I'll reinstall from scratch, making the xml mod too.
No, I did not check the overwrite box. I did a product uninstall first... then an install. I'll try the overwrite option before anything else.
Tried the overwrite... same result. Will do another reinstall from scratch. I'm reluctant to use the
vb navigation manager as a quick fix (other problems???)
