Also the links in the site discussed are different to my vbgallery install, eg Reeftalk has uploadphoto.php instead of upload.php, indicating to the less well informed (me) that it's not the same thing I'm using.
I would suggest posting a summary sticky on this as I doubt I was the only one confused by this thread.
