Most likely since there was no upgrade script with 4.2 your copyright may not have been updated. Check your version in the admin panel statistics if it says your using 4.2 your good.
As far as bugs go I may silently update the build so future customers etc do not encounter the same issue and when I get enough to warrant a version change I make an announcement and post a version update.
