We are looking at adding support for the ckeditor and are looking into it the last few weeks. When we support it we will post. The quick fix as you meantioned is what I have posted already. You disable the display of quickreply and use the normal editor which appears to function fine.

vb beta software is restricted to the same as normal customers now. .0x releases by software companies do not change things normally and we do not openly investigate every single release like that.
