You can control in admin index options how many levels of categories to show on your index. None of that functionality should have changed between versions. The big changes I believe would be SEO and flash uploader. |
I think I understand what he's saying as I have a similar problem, when I updated from 6.0 to 7.0(.3) The software insists on putting the most recent uploads displayed above the sub categories of a category, I can not find an option to change or move this, normally I have 16 of the most recent images upload displayed on the main index, but now, it would also display that same 16 ABOVE the sub categories, which makes even noticing the sub categories existence quite hard.. In other words NOT on the index.. but inside categories, there seems to be no way to change the setting to eliminate displaying, or atleast move where the most recent uploaded files are displayed
