Yes, I'm not criticising... lord knows Photopost is the best on the market... Only wish I could have chosen
VB over Pro in the early days.
What plans are there for Vbgallery... is it going to continue?
If So I may invest in a scripts to port to it from Pro.

Again I'm not criticising just confused as to why these features aren't available to the pro version natively. One BIG feature missing in Pro is Social network interactiveness unlike Vbgallery that has it built in as a feature...forums have woken up to is interaction with other multi national huge concerns like Facebook. It's built into Vbgallery yet the best I could find for pro was a third party hack that gave little control over the final post and ultimately served to promote the third party..... That's how far reaching the differences are to me.
To be fair I would need to show you how the permissions are set up on our site to see how difficult... no not difficult... time consuming it is to set permissions for a new group who has different rights in different cats and sub cats. I shy away from this task as it can take half a day to complete.
I see two types of software. Photopost Pro (the software compatible with most of the serious forums scripts) and Vbgallery dedicated Vbulletin gallery script. Clearly the gap between each is getting wider and I guess if I'm to invest in the future I should take a long hard look at these two and the market and see what best compliments Vbulletin in features, administration, compatibility and integration.
