As I have explained here any distance miscalculations which happen between your new canadian and a us zipcode the issue was found to be the FREE Zipcode database we include all the longitutes are positive whereas they should be negative for US. The other thread you have commented in elsewhere here I posted a query that should correct the zipcode database us entries and solve the issue with distance calculations.
