well I doubt your image processors can create thumbnails for those formats most likely.

Most notably I beleive jpg png gif are the normal formats handled by imageprocessors. I know Imagemagick can sometimes handle tif files but personally I have never seen a jp2 on the web.

There is a huge difference on the image types that exist on computers and those that are web viewable.
