Even if the user is given perrmission to delete other user's pictures? That's what I did and I wrote that in the question above.

meaning this user's own pictures, of course
Nobody at all can edit their own pictures except me, the admin, on my forum, and that is a huge problem now.
About the second problem, I'm sorry, I gave you the wrong link. I have this problem:
Next, Previous, & Flimstrip/ The "userid" parameter is always empty.
So to sum up:
1. Users can't edit, delete etc their own pictures.
2.
Next, Previous, & Flimstrip
I would guess that the script can't understand who the user is (because commenting out the userid helps in the second problem). But the script understands when the admin is logged in - admin can edit any pictures.
I have turned off all the
vB plugins except vBGallery to see if that helps - no effect.
