No it should not remove anything. It found old tables so it tried to upgrade and hense your issue you had improper old tables etc

Your title of this thread was even misleading saying failed upgrade. You should have been like new install.

Like I said its up and running as I installed it for you free and you can delete any old photopost pro content as you wish I simply worked with what I saw. I mean you even uploaded your vbgallery files into the photopost pro directory with all its files.
