for some reason, it didnt
im now redoing all the thumbs and medium size images, once i finish with that, i will get back to this issue and try to reimport the comments with this settings, and will try to find out the problem. I suggest you put this as one setting to config file, might be usefull to all future users with non-ascii charsets
