If your say using vbulletin and both Photopost and vbulletin are set like this there should be no cookie issues.
cookie path /
cookie prefix bb
cookie domain .domain.com
Now in your photopost config settings your
vb license number must be entered correctly in the config details not customer number.
The only way login is going to be dropped is if your cookies are not the same between both products.
