Make sure you have enabled it for usergroup administrators also!! not only for registered users.. If you cant see the link.. its maybe because you have enabled it only for usergroup registered users..
As for the phrases.. mine is fine.. and i have a testboard with 3.8 RC1 and a fresh vbgallery 2.43 (2 months old) with no other hacks installed.. it also works on my old board with
vb 3.74

PS : actually i have disabled it.. because i dont want users to f*** up their profile when tampering with it..
Example: a user sets image size to "original" and puts it in the right column... ...
