Thanks! That fixed it. Some suggestions for improvements to the Installation Instructions (http://www.photopost.com/installphp.html)

In the directory structure information:
photopost directory - no permissions specified
languages - "(a" - should this be deleted?
stylesheets - loads from the zip file as 755 instead of required 777
templates - loads from the zip file as 755 instead of required 777

Instructions say all permissions for (all) .php and .sql files should be set to chmod 644. Your instructions above indicate 666 for the config-inc.php and config-int.php files.

I believe install.php loaded differently than the 644 you indicate above, but I didn't make a note of what it was.

The instructions don't mention removing the .NEW extensions from config-inc.php.NEW and config-int.php.NEW

Under the instructions for the web installation script:
It says if you get an error, it is probably because the config-inc.php should be set to 777. (That is why I set them to 777.) As you indicated above, these should be 666.

Not a bad install, but these updates to the installation instructions would have made it go easier and avoided having to involve you.

Thanks - Jim Smith
