I would suggest first thing you check is that if you had someone else like
vb upgrade you that they did not switch databases as it sure sounds like your database for the forum has been updated and hense thats why a new user can not be authenticated but your old ones are. Reverify your forum info is correct under photopost and I do beleive you will solve this one.
