OK, I imported a Coppermine gallery that had a number of users on it. I see that these users are in the users table in my PP database. However, when I go to change the owner to one of the users in the PP database, it says:

"Unable to find this user. Please check spelling"

My basic question is, when PP is integrated with vB and using its registration system, does it look for these users within the vB database when changing photo owners?

Also, I wanted to know how I would go about changing the owner of comments as well?

Would I just go into the comments table in the PP database and modify 'username' and 'userid' to the correct username and userid as they correspond within vB? After doing this, will PP then associate that comment with that vB user, or would I have to do additional steps?
