PP using 30% of dual quad-core 1.6ghz box?

I think something is seriously wrong here. My gallery http://www.gamersgallery.com I think is responsible for constant server crashes. I've talked with my management company and they say it's taking 30%. I've had them tweak the server and I've tried tweaking the script, but nothing seems to work.

I had an old thread about this same problem, but figured a new thread with more detail in it would get me faster response. Here's what my WHM reports about my gamersgallery.com site:

User Domain %CPU %MEM Mysql Processes
ggadmin gamersgallery.com 30.40 28.21 0.9
Top Process %CPU 34.4 httpd [gamersgallery.com] [/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/8408/cat/all/page/6]
Top Process %CPU 31.5 httpd [gamersgallery.com] [/gallery/slideshow.php?photo27039&limit&cat1295]
Top Process %CPU 30.5 httpd [gamersgallery.com] [/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/38675/cat/2841/page/2]

Does anybody see a problem here? 2 of those are just regular image pages and one is a setting for the slideshow time before it switched to a new picture.

I really want to solve this problem once and for all. The version that the site is running isn't old at all. (5.03)

The only real modifications that I've done that I don't know if they are affecting the performance is on the frontpage at http://www.gamersgallery.com

The only sections on that page that are dynamically pulling their images are the babes section, user submitted wallpapers, and the Funny & Cool Images section. Everything else on that page I add manually. Could it be anything on that frontpage? (If I need to post the mod code for those sections and how they grab the content from the database, I'd be more than happy to.)

The only other thing that I can even remotely think of what's causing this excessive CPU usage, is the way my categories are setup at http://www.gamersgallery.com/gallery/

Basically, I've used the categories to really help with organizing. You can click on the categories on that page just mentioned and see what I'm talking about. It just has a lot of steps to the tree structure, but I was never told this could cause this problem. The only other thing that I can think of that is somewhat related to all these categories, is that when you click on the upload link to upload a picture, the dropdown box contains the names of all these categories. Could that be too much for the script / server? If so, can somebody help me without how to remove it without affecting what category the pictures are uploaded to?

Thanks for any help, I need to get this problem fixed as it's killing my server constantly.
