The price of vbGallery has more than doubled since AEI acquired it and it has less features than pro. If I were buying a gallery today and had no prior knowledge of both products, Pro would most probably be my choice as it has more features. vBgallery is even belittled on the product page, "It is a lighter, more streamlined version of PhotoPost, and doesn't include many of the more advanced features of PhotoPost Pro". Im sure most of your new clients will be installing Pro for this reason which will lead to a smaller vBgallery install base over time. As less and less people use it, it will no longer be viable for AEI to maintain two galleries.
