If you are running the RC update, to upgrade to the final you will need to download the final and upload the files:

adm-misc.php
comments.php
external.php
pp-inc.php

templates/categall.tmpl
templates/vb3enhanced/categall.tmpl

templates/profile.tmpl
templates/vb3enhaced/profile.tmpl

You will also need to re-run the upgrade.php to get some new settings in place; but you can ignore the dupe errors you will see. Remove the upgrade.php script when you have finished.
