Sorry if that was unclear. My whole question is about missing files. As I said in my first post:

So to clarify:
There is no error message, because I haven't uploaded anything yet. I haven't uploaded anything yet because some of the files that the installation instructions say I'm supposed to upload do not exist in any of the folders that came with vBGallery. As I said above, there may be more than the 2 I listed.
Should I ignore the steps in the installation instructions (quoted in my first post) that involve those files? Do those files not matter?
Otherwise, what should I do?
