You did not give us any links or nothing to work on at all. You got advise on the error you reported. You said you had no images in your install so restoring the database or in particular the photos table is the right course of action.
I am glad a repair worked for you no doubt my advise to look at your database and restore tables got you to see what your specific issue could be rememdied by a repair instead
