Your forum path must be this in header-inc.php
$vbpath = "/hsphere/local/home/assilny/aerysoul.com/board";
Now I notice your line number for the error is whacked so you must be using either a hacked or old file so my suggestion is to download the current build and replace your files except the config files and run any upgrades if necessary and see where you stand
As far as backup recheck the path you have entered and permisisons maybe should be this
/hsphere/local/home/assilny/aerysoul.com/backup
