There is nothing I know of that would not delete it as long as you have permission to do so. If you did not have permission you should get the no permission screen but your not so as long as you hit delete you can delete it. If you edit it then you just put the new text in there. I did yet another test on your site just editing a comment and now that second line shows

Maybe your cache is not updating in your browser?

Chuck,

I completely understand the "HOW TO" - what I'm saying is that IT WON'T LET ME. (Doesn't always apply - it's selective)

I'm reporting a PROBLEM - not asking for a tutorial.

I am having the problem under my account (admin) - so are my other admins & SuperMods. We have the permission - it acts like it works - once you go back to the comment- it's still there - not deleted or edited.
I don't know if it would have worked for the original poster or not - the last two times (last 2 days) I had to delete a few.
  1. Member posted a comment he thought was a PM - wanted to delete it as it contained his phone #. It would NOT let him - I tried to delete it. Didn't work. I tried to just edit it. Didn't work. I was brought in after another Admin was initially contacted about it- and he could not edit or delete it. I ended up in phpMyAdmin to edit it instead.
  2. Last night - a member posted a rude comment - I tried to delete. Nope. I tried to edit. Nope.
