What I am saying is once you upgrade Photopost there is no mess. You can correct paths as you wish but your only recourse is to upgrade or start a fresh install with nothing in it. There is no way to copy data or import things since the databases are different.

So you need to clone your existing install correct all urls and paths and then upgrade it as noted by me.
