Yes it was a while back when 5x came out, I never got around to attempting the upgrade again because I could never find a solution to the link problem. What good would it do when it would destroy hunreds of thousands of picture tutorials? I check here every couple months for a solution but notta. Surley someone else has encountered this?
You say there is nothing you can do about links outsite your program code, as if it has nothing to do with photopost. You give UBBCode: in the code on showphoto.php.
Just yesterday you replied to someone asking how to post a img in their forums.

You can enable in the showphoto options in admin to show the direct link ubbcode link etc and you should be able to when viewing a photo for instance copy and paste the ubbcode to make a image display inline

VB enhanced is a big selling point for photopost, its not really something outside your code when you advertise
vb integrated software and give specific links and instructions to use a link that you break in an upgrade.
