I had vb3.6 running with 5.31 on a test server for 1month and had no issues... but i never tested with new registrants...
Initial Setup on test and live site:
cookie path: blank
cookie prefix: bb
cookie domain: blank
My live site already had 5.31 with vb3.06 with no login issues... I upgraded my live site with vb3.6 2 weeks ago and didn't notice anything strange... until new users started complaining that they get the "not registered" error msg when viewing a pic... although they were registered... i iniitially thought it was user error until I kept on getting the emails...
I proceeded to review the support threads here and updated the cookie domain and path to reflect what i had in my
VB settings... then I begun to have login problems after i logged out... it wouldn't recognize my session when I tried to loginto the admin panel... the new users were still having problems... so i reverted back to what i originally had..
I have also confirmed that the licenses match
