I get all the way in the upgrade path to:

This install script will upgrade your 4.8.5 or 4.8.6 release. Only run this upgrade if you have the 4.8.5 or 4.8.6 version of the database in place (either by previous upgrades or if upgrading in order to the latest).

and get the error" I cannot connect to the Members database. []"

The settings were good all the way to this part, what is wrong?
