Hi Chuck, thanks for answering.

I did just that... as I said in my post prior:
1. I couldn't create a "photopost" database (it said it was already taken)
2. I named it "tedgallery"...(It didn't ask for a database name...just a User name)
3. I created a password.

In the install.php, it asks for the database name and the user name. I entered "tedgallery" for both *shrug* Since I couldn't make the database name in my control panel, I figured it was the same as the User name?

I left "localhost" as "localhost"...

I don't see what I'm doing wrong.

I've left you a message on the phone's answering system because I'm thinking it's probably just best I pay for installation because obviously I'm over my head with this stuff.

Again, I appreciate your help.
