I think the public record speaks for itself; and, honestly, that's all you are going to get from the parties involved. However, that said, I do think actions speak louder than words and we've backed up vBGallery from Day One with an updated combined license system, new open forums with verified customer tags, a paid support staff, a committment to updates and even retained the same pricing model for the past 8 months so that users could buy the product in the same manner as they have in the past at the same price. We also offered all existing vBGallery customers a free year extension to the updates in exchange for a copyright notice change.

That's not to say that the price isn't going to go up (it will); but we never really considered changing products an "upgrade path". In the past we have run specials for existing customers to purchase additional PhotoPost product licenses and I have no reason to think we won't do it again; but as for buying PhotoPost at a discount to convert your vBGallery license, that would be something I could pass along as a suggestion.
