I recently read how to add category avatars on the index page in the left hand column. Works perfect.

My Problem: Now I have avatar placeholders on my subcat pages. Which is cool but don't have anything to place there right now. I have turned off the "Show Avatars on Showcat pages" in the "Show Categories Options" and
"Show Ads Options" but they still show. Does anyone know the code to change the template for displaying the category avatars on the "index page alone and not the other pages?"
