As far as integrating with Photopost on a normal install or classifieds or reviewpost you simply install and select external integration and pick photopost treating things on install as an external integration.
Basically to switch an existing site you would do this
1. make sure the users exist in the photopost users table
2. edit the config file to make sure the database info is correct to connect to photopost for user database
3. change settings 41 and 83 to the proper integration type and photopost table prefix for reviewpost and classifieds |

In addition I set the paths in admin menu of reviewpost in "Forum Settings" and in "Edit Integration" to the photopost addresses.
It worked for admin, but as expected not for those suers, who have in both installations already an account with the same username, but different "userid" and "group id". Tere are no errors, but if I login, it accepts the login without showing "upload product" etc., so teher is something wrong with it.
But apart of that the shared user registration seems to work, which is good news for me
I tried now to change in the tables of reviewpost afterwards the userid and group id to the equivilant numbers in photopost, but it does not help anymore. The admin was fine, because it has in both installations same userid and group id from the beginning.
My questions are now the folowing:
1. Is there a way to change the userid and group id in RP to the same number in photopost before doing the integration, so that it gets accepted?
2. what happens with users, who are only registered in RP, but not at all in PP? Do they "disappear"? (since they are only in the RP tables, which are not used anymore) - I could add them manually in photopost, but would like to know, whether this causes errors/technical problems
