I think I see part of the problem, but I don't know how to fix it.

Here's a direct link to an mp4 file on my server:

http://www.stickypod.com/videos/data/526/ts_web.mp4

When you click on the link above it works just fine.

Here's the link to that same file in my video gallery (since it won't show the file, it won't give me the rest):

http://www.stickypod.com/videos/show...o/1375/cat/526

Now this is your link:

http://www.reeftalk.com/gallery/show...t=500&ppuser=1

You have a ? and = and & and another = where I have 4 ////

Now I haven't changed any of the PHP coding other than adding the addtional extensions in the showphoto.php file.

Here's another link to a normal .mov (quicktime) file. It works fine, but as you can see, it also has a different syntax.

What could be causing the difference?
