Your losing me here this entire thread is about a hack you wanted in uploadproduct.php. Where does showproduct.php come into this discussion?
The quickmove box is not going to show if you are not admin mod or the poster and user delete option is off in admin options. Did you turn this off? Did you turn off quickopts switch in pp-inc.php?
