Photo Post Pro or Amateur? : A plethora of problems

Photo Post Pro or Amateur? : A plethora of problems

Alright then, this is a professional world and when you charge money from your customers then you need to give them what they want.

I paid a 100$ for the photopost classifieds license and 160$ for vbulletin. frankly, the level of support and professionalism exhibited by the VB support staff is uncountably more than over here. I have been trying to install the classifieds since 3 days now - and some problem or theother seems to be cropping up. now dont tell me that i need to be a pro in php or something to install the classifieds 'pro'. everything should be self - explinatory like in vbulletin.

for starters the response system of the support staff is very slow. i have seen uncountable threads started by customers which have ended aimlessly undecided just because the customer has decided to compromise or has taken an alternate route which has sacrificed some functionality.

see this thread : Watermark Issues

two people facing the same problem and no suitable answer?

thats costing me time for my business.

more problem ( or if these are not problems then sorry they were not documented very well enough, as i seemed to have missed their solution )
  1. I tried to upload a non - image file ( .fla ). it uploaded the file and showed the ad without any errors. It did show a no image thumbnail. This is not what i want when users are trying to upload stuff onto the classifieds.
  2. The classifieds accpeted the ad even when i did not mention any price for the item. it just displayed a n/a
  3. there must be more small irritants like these, i am too exhausted to check them out as of now.

i hope this crtique of mine will be taken in best spirits and not in a personal way.

all the best.
