This is a very nice option, alot people will benefit from it, I'll purchase the review post if they hav this feature ready!
However, I think it's more logical EACH category will hold a set of custom fields, not the item itself. Think of a review system where you have, for example, CAR & CAMERA, they are definately have their own specs (fields) to be set!
